At the start of the April 6 meeting, Election Board Secretary Julie Dermody told commissioners that "Elections will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, April 7) from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm; check the state election board website for sample ballots."
Commissioner Dan DeLozier announced the Claremore Museum of History Andy Payne Route 66 Half Marathon and 5K will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026 and said "portions of Route 66 between Foyil and Claremore will be affected and drivers should be aware of race activity in the area." Bill Higgins requested the board provide a letter of support to nominate Jersey the Court Dog for the Liberty Bell Award. Mark Ogle, representing Court Appointed Special Advocate, noted April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
