TDOT seeks $56.2 million for airports, splitting general aviation and air-carrier support

"If you look on the slide here on aviation investment, it's actually 56,200,000," Elliott said, and he summarized the 2021 statewide aviation plan that identified about $50,000,000 annually needed for general aviation airports when combined with federal FAA funds. TDOT said the requested package, together with federal FAA funds and prior recurring support, would help close gaps identified in the 2021 study and support strategic investments at the state's commercial and general aviation airports.
