The Central Office Committee unanimously renewed the contract of Superintendent Andrew Skarzynski at its July 29, 2026 special meeting. Committee member Jaclyn Chancey moved "to renew the Superintendent’s contract to the term of July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029, updating the salary on page 2 to the current salary and updating the dates for salary review to the end of 2026, 2027, and 2028, and amending the evaluation completion date on page 5 to June 30;" Cassidy Martin seconded the motion and the minutes record it as unanimously approved.
The minutes also show that the committee entered executive session earlier in the meeting to discuss the superintendent evaluation and, upon exit, recorded the item "Possible Action on the Superintendent Evaluation" as tabled. The renewal motion as recorded includes specific administrative changes to the contract term, the salary reference on page 2 (amount not specified in the minutes), the schedule for salary reviews, and the evaluation completion date. The minutes do not include the salary amount or the substantive content of the executive session.
