Commission approves nearly $961,000 in first‑quarter transfers

The transfers moved $928,298.75 from General Fund 101‑4‑911‑4294 to Highway Road & Bridge Fund 201‑3‑371‑0000 and $32,660.25 from General Fund 101‑4‑911‑4290 to Emergency Management Fund 226‑3‑371‑0000. The motions passed on a unanimous roll‑call vote.
Finance staff presented the transfers as part of regular budget appropriations and the board recorded the votes of Commissioners VanderWal, Post, Miller, Jensen and Hostler as “aye.” The transfers will be reflected in the county’s quarterly budget statements and in upcoming reports from the Finance Officer.
