Parker County approves canvass of bond election propositions; commissioners note vote recording discrepancy

"On this one, you're gonna have to vote for prop a, and then you're gonna have to vote on prop b so that you can have 2 records," she said. Commissioners moved and seconded approval of Prop A and the chair recorded that vote as carried 4–0.
After the Prop B vote, a commissioner questioned a discrepancy in the recorded votes, asking, "Should Conley be a no there? How did that happen?" Staff responded that Conley should be recorded as abstaining; the chair confirmed the public record showed the motion as carried 4–0. No change to the recorded outcomes was made during the meeting.
The county did not identify individual vote names in the public exchange; the recorded tallies in the meeting record are four yes votes and zero no votes for each proposition.
