In the Sheriff’s Office, the commission approved hiring Leah (LJ) Sanders as a full‑time permanent Deputy I at $31.69/hour effective May 12, 2026, and part‑time fill‑in Correctional Officer hires Daniel Howard ($25.30/hour) and Andre Steward ($24.80/hour). Classification changes were approved for Miranda Dove (Correctional Sergeant) and Caylor Benson (Dispatcher III) at $28.23/hour effective May 17, 2026. Emergency Management leave donation to Barb Baker was also authorized.
