A board member moved to approve the CUP with an amended Item 16 setting the maximum allowed dogs to 75; the board carried the motion by voice vote. The board and staff emphasized that any building modifications, signage and floodplain or sanitary‑district requirements would be handled through separate building‑permit and sign‑permit processes with the city of Spearfish where applicable. "I would make a motion to approve CUP 45126, with the amended item 16 to 75," the committee member said during the motion (motion seconded and approved).
