"We did have 42 individuals that we were able to identify that had voted in Tennessee that were not US citizens out of 4,000,000," he said, adding that further checking identified implementation flags (derived citizens and data mismatches) and the pilot process helped the state and federal teams correct system flaws. The office said it would follow the statutory notification processes for any individuals flagged and that no change to the in‑person voter ID requirement was announced.
