Community Services posts AOT position; office pursuing Rural Suicide Prevention Grant

Lisa Principio told the Human Services Committee that the Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) position has been posted and that the office has received a couple of applications so far; she said interviews will begin after the posting closes in mid‑May. "The position for the AOT has been posted and they've received a couple of applications," Principio said.
Principio also reported that a policy and procedures guide has been submitted to the state for feedback, that the office remains in an opiate settlement audit, and that the Community Services office plans to submit an application for a Rural Suicide Prevention Grant. She noted May is Mental Health Awareness Month and described outreach activities planned in the community.
