Yates County sheriff reports staffing gains, CAD review and high FOIL volume

Ryan recognized "National Corrections Officers Week" and thanked staff for their work. He said agency administrative staff attended a Tyler Technologies presentation to evaluate a new CAD vendor to replace the current, outdated system. On dispatching, Ryan reported five dispatcher interviews and a contingent job offer that, if accepted, would fully staff 911. He also noted the office continues to receive many FOIL requests and that an animal control officer was bitten at a vet clinic, creating a workers' comp claim.
