Real Property office: tentative assessment rolls posted; homeowners directed to grievance resources

Kincaid described a recent Board of Assessment Review orientation with 13 attendees, noting more than half were newly appointed BAR members and that participants asked substantive questions. She told the committee that residents who want to appeal valuations should consult their town assessor or the county Real Property site for grievance-day procedures and appointment information.
Kincaid also alerted members that village tax bills are scheduled to be mailed June 1 and noted she will be on vacation May 29 to June 4. The committee accepted the Real Property report as information.
