The Parker County Commissioners Court issued a proclamation recognizing Peaster High School’s historic 2025 football season and designated a day of celebration in January 2026. Commissioners praised the coaching staff, athletic director and the four team captains for the season that culminated in a state semifinal appearance.
Commissioner Holt invited the captains and coaches forward and read the proclamation, noting the team's “13 wins” and the program’s rapid growth. Rhett Kelly, one of the captains, told the court, “I just wanna thank everyone, on our team, our coaching staff, just for an amazing season. I couldn't have asked for a better senior season at all.” The court presented the proclamation and arranged a group photo with coaches and captains.
