The board approved a professional-services contract with Butler & Fairman to complete the last phase of the county's small-structure inventory covering 55 remaining structures. Commissioner Dan Borgenheimer moved to approve the contract not to exceed $41,465; Commissioner Laura Coons seconded and the vote was 3–0.
Highway Superintendent John Pluimer told the commissioners the work will be covered by the 2025 budget. The contract authorizes the consultant to complete the inventory work so the county can schedule needed repairs and prioritize capital spending.
