Derek Hagen, the courthouse renovation project manager, updated commissioners Aug. 19 on ongoing work at the Blackford County Courthouse.
He reported scaffolding is being erected to the clock tower and that masons are completing work on the east side of the building. Short's Glass is installing and trimming windows on the south and east sides of the first and second floors. "Except for the clock tower, the roof will be completed by Labor Day," the record states.
No new change orders or funding actions were recorded for the renovation at the meeting.
