Middle School Principal Trisha Roach told the board that iReady and NWEA testing this semester show significant improvement for middle school students. Roach said the MS is finishing the testing cycle and highlighted that 139 middle school students had no referrals for the semester, a metric the school presented as evidence of improved behavior and engagement.
Roach also highlighted enrichment opportunities, including a partnership on the Artemis Project with NASA that will allow students to design patches and submit projects. Winter sports participation was credited with improving both behavior and academics, though no specific participation counts were recorded in the minutes.
