The commission agreed to place application information on the county website and to notify residents via KNEM/KNMO radio, the Nevada Daily Mail, the Nevada News, the Neal Center and the Community Center.
The action was recorded as a plan to start taking applications; commissioners also discussed publicizing the program widely so eligible seniors could apply. No formal timeline for application openings beyond the preparations was specified in the minutes.
