Carlin asks RTC for $77,000 to rebuild 11th Street after sewer work; commission approves

"We found out our road base was just sitting on sand, not on real road base," Braithwaite said, explaining the city will remove the sand, install proper base and repave. Braithwaite requested $77,000 from Carlin’s RTC apportionment; the city will contribute roughly $68,000–$70,000 from local funds.
Commissioner Travis (Speaker 4) moved to approve the request; the motion was seconded and carried on a voice vote with the chair announcing the motion carries. The commission treated the request as an application of Carlin’s existing apportionment rather than a change to RTC policy.
