Johns Creek council approves minutes and agenda, then moves to closed session
Summary
At its March 10 meeting the council approved the Feb. 24 meeting minutes and the March 10 agenda, recognized Eagle Scouts, heard a public comment from consultant John Mantay, and voted to adjourn into executive session to discuss land, legal and personnel matters.
The Johns Creek City Council approved the Feb. 24 work session summary and council meeting minutes and then approved the March 10 meeting agenda without amendment. Council member Coughlin moved to approve the minutes and to approve the agenda; the motions were seconded and approved on voice votes with no recorded objections.
Later in the meeting Council member Coughlin moved that the council adjourn to executive session "where we intend to discuss land, legal, and or personnel matters." The motion carried and the council adjourned to closed session; upon return the mayor reported the council had discussed one land item. No further on-the-record action related to that land item was recorded in the transcript.
