Council approves multiple board and commission appointments in single motion

The Johns Creek City Council on Feb. 24 combined several resolutions into a single motion and approved appointments to multiple advisory bodies, including the Board of Zoning Appeals, Planning Commission, Recreation & Parks Advisory Committee and the Arts, Culture & Entertainment Committee.
Council members thanked applicants and long‑serving volunteers for their service; Mayor John Bradbury singled out John DiPietro for lengthy service on the Board of Zoning Appeals and council expressed appreciation for many residents who applied. The composite motion to approve the slate of nominees passed by voice vote.
No individual appointments were debated at length during the meeting; council approved the composite motion and asked staff to proceed with onboarding the new members.
