Olivia Gosta told the committee that at the Dec. 9 council work session staff was directed to change consultants and refine the performing arts center scope to a needs‑based approach with a target around $50,000,000. "The RFP is out on the streets, and it will be due the 21st," she said, noting a responses deadline of Feb. 21.
Gosta said the RFP was posted in mid to late January and that staff hopes to report progress at the committee’s March meeting. Committee members asked follow‑up clarifying questions about the schedule and process; Gosta directed members to the city website for RFP details and confirmed she will provide another progress report in March.
