The Finance Committee considered two audit proposals and voted on Feb. 19 to award a three-year contract to CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA). County Administrator Lee Engfer said the county has previously worked with Baker Tilly, while CLA does audits for 42 counties and is familiar with Tyler Technologies, which was noted as relevant to county systems.
Brian Michaels moved to award the audit RFP to CliftonLarsonAllen for a three-year contract; Max Weiss seconded the motion, which carried. Committee members noted both firms are reputable and have local offices in Eau Claire.
