Commissioners approve NestCrafters for Annex repairs; renovation scaffolding to come down this week

Facility Manager Meagan Westfall reported the claims adjuster approved moving forward with NestCrafters’ proposal to repair the Annex. President John Lancaster moved to approve NestCrafters for the work; the motion passed 3/0.
Project manager Derek Hagan provided an update on the courthouse renovation: south overhead protection was being removed the same day, scaffolding was expected to be down by the end of the week, masonry work may wait until spring, and the courthouse clock was due back the following day. Westfall also said HVAC crews worked on the boiler and cooling tower to prepare for winter, and the boiler sensor will be replaced.
