Highway Superintendent John Pluimer told commissioners that ERS Radios provided an additional equipment quote of $99,542.18. He also presented three pickup-truck quotes ranging from $48,512 to $55,000 and asked permission to purchase; the board voted to allow him to select the dealer and complete the purchase.
Pluimer reported finding a 2018 semi-truck to replace a salt truck for $46,000; the board approved that purchase on a 3–0 vote. He added that work on bridges 56 and 57 will begin this week and the county's chip-and-seal program "is going well."
