Councilors asked about single‑use bag fee revenue/expenditure detail, cost recovery for EV chargers, and benchmarking costs to businesses; staff said there is no direct cost to participating building owners (Core is a contracted service paid through the rent fund) and that staff will return with further breakdowns. Council expressed support for the climate team’s efficiency and the city’s leadership on benchmarking compliance.
