The commission voted to advertise a public workshop to discuss review procedures for proposed revisions to the Salem Township Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO). Solicitor Gary Falatovich advised that informal discussions among commissioners are permissible so long as they do not constitute deliberation or informal voting; he suggested a workshop to take informal votes and prepare recommendations to the Supervisors. Chair Connie Mattei asked whether the application form attached to an approving resolution would need deed or title evidence; Falatovich said those documents should be required and that including the application in the resolution would not be harmful.
Later in the agenda the commission moved to adjourn. Motion made by Paul Holleran and seconded by John Durco to adjourn with the next regular meeting scheduled for June 4, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. if there is an agenda. Vote on the motion: John Durco, Paul Holleran, and Connie Mattei voted for the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 9:14 p.m.
