Shenandoah County CPMT approves updated IFSP, certifies closed session and approves IEPs/IFSPs

The Shenandoah County Community Policy and Management Team convened March 4, 2026, at 10:05 a.m. Chair Alyssa Baker led a roll call that recorded several agency representatives present and noted the Parent Representative seat remains vacant.

During new business, Jerry Stollings moved to approve an updated Individualized Family Service Plan; Leea Shirley seconded and the CPMT approved the updated IFSP. The group later entered a closed Executive Session at 10:36 a.m. under the Code of Virginia (citing §2.2-3711(A)(4) and (15) and §2.2-5210) to consider provision of services and funding for specific referred children and families. At 10:40 a.m. members certified that only the matters identified in the motion were discussed in closed session. Following certification, J. Stollings moved and B. DeLullo seconded a motion to approve all IEPs and IFSPs reviewed; the CPMT approved those plans.

The meeting included a financial update by Matt Gochenour, who presented January expenditures and allocations for the CSA program, and discussion of strategic-plan items including moving forward with the CSA FAPT Youth and Family Satisfaction Surveys and adding a Data and Outcomes (CQI) dashboard link to the county website. Chair Baker noted a wait list for NWCSB mental-health initiative funds, and members were reminded of Virtual CSA Academy sessions on March 13 and 27, 2026.

The meeting adjourned at 10:57 a.m. on a motion by Leigh Sicina, seconded by Beth DeLullo. Upcoming CPMT meetings were announced for April 1 and May 6, 2026.
