Resident asks for public roadmaster logs; board confirms private‑land approach for trail connection

Rebitch also asked whether Delmont Boro would need to obtain landowner permission to route the Westmoreland Heritage Trail through private property. Supervisor Kerry Jobe responded affirmatively, saying Delmont will need to approach property owners and, if an owner refuses, the borough will need to either abandon that alignment or negotiate a different approach.
The board acknowledged the requests and committed to revisit the roadmaster logging proposal at the March meeting.
