Jennie Wilson moved to approve the Highly Capable Plan "as presented," and the motion passed unanimously. The vote followed presentations from building leaders and district staff on enrollment and programming. The meeting began at 6:01 p.m. and adjourned at 7:46 p.m.
Superintendent Kevin Young told the board that enrollment is lower than budgeted and said reductions will likely be required but "reductions should happen mostly through attrition." The board also agreed to move its March regular meeting to Tuesday, March 25.
