Committee withholds further payment on Corning legal bills pending signed SWAT intermunicipal agreement

Wheeler said he has not received confirmation that the City of Corning will sign the Intermunicipal Agreement for participation on the SWAT team.
Committee members agreed they should not process additional payments until the city provides a response and signaled that city personnel should not participate on the county SWAT team without a signed agreement. Ms. Kelly H. Fitzpatrick said she will speak with the sheriff and that if there is no agreement, city members should not be covered; the county's note records that the County Manager and County Attorney will communicate with the City Manager and City Attorney regarding payment and participation.
