Mayor Steve Dickey called the Porter Fairgrounds Trust Authority meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. on Jan. 8; roll call showed a quorum with members Ryan Moore, Norma Meyer, Kevin Walker and Lucas Beaty present. The agenda listed elections for chairman, vice-chairman, secretary and treasurer but the minutes record that no action was taken on those items.
The meeting concluded quickly after two motions were handled: appointments to the Fairgrounds Committee and approval of tables and chairs for the Red Barn. Mayor Dickey moved to adjourn at 7:17 p.m.; Norma Meyer seconded and the vote was unanimous. Minutes are signed by STEVE DICKEY, MAYOR and SHIRLEY HERRING, TOWN CLERK.
