Commissioners approve reallocation of $40,000 data-usage line to support general fund

Human Resources representative Jeff Hubbard told the commissioners that a $40,000 line item for data usage, added to the commissioner's budget a few years ago, has been repurposed over time and that County Council asked to use some or all of those funds to support the general fund this year. Hubbard said Council did not anticipate needing the funds next year.
Commissioner Matt Reedy moved to approve the request to allow the Council to use the funds; Commissioner Drew Storey seconded and the motion carried with three yes votes. Hubbard also reminded the board about the insurance renewal meeting scheduled for Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
