James Wolf, County Extension Director, asked Council to re‑approve a $5,619 appropriation to buy computers the office had ordered in the fall but could not invoice before county year‑end closing; purchasing the equipment will avoid continued lease costs and produce long‑term savings. "This is actually a request for $5,619 that was approved by you last fall for our computer equipment," Wolf said, explaining the invoice timing issue.
Councilman Paul Lagemann moved the appropriation and Council approved it 6‑0‑1 (Ken Fries absent/left early). Wolf said he expects to return later in the year for one more round of replacements as the program phases out leases.
