County Judge Lisa Johnson announced at the Aug. 26 meeting that the Juvenile Probation Office will move to the Exhibition Building.
Judge Johnson said the relocation will require some expenses, including changes to the camera system and phone system and carpet cleaning; she said the department will purchase its own furniture. No vote was required for the announcement; the court recorded it as an update under announcements.
Commissioners did not propose alternate funding sources or vote on the expenses during the session.
