Mike Basillo, director of community and school outreach for Washington Township Schools, used the public participation period to announce the district's annual hoagie sale fundraiser to benefit families facing medical complications. "The school district will be having their annual hoagie sale Super Bowl weekend which benefits families with medical complications. Pre order hoagies by February 6th. They will sell and distribute hoagies on February 9th. If you wish to help out, come to the high school at 5: 45 AM," Basillo said.
Basillo encouraged volunteers to assist with preparation and distribution and provided the pre-order deadline and pickup date to the council and attendees. The announcement was informational and no council action was taken on the item.
