Board ratifies routine consent items, clerk reads long new-hire list

The board approved its consent agenda, a routine collection of items that included meeting minutes (special and regular), ratifications of contracts under $50,000, certificated and classified personnel actions, inter- and intra-district transfer requests for 2026–27, preliminary budget revisions and the June 2026 warrant lists, and declarations of surplus materials and equipment.
On the motion of Trustee Lisa Boulet and seconded by Trustee Stephanie Olsen, the student trustee cast a preferential vote and the motion carried unanimously. After the vote the clerk read an extended list of newly hired certificated and classified employees for 2026–27 and welcomed them to the district.
The list included multiple teachers, instructional aides, specialists and support staff across elementary and secondary sites. The board did not remove any items for separate discussion.
