Advisory board asks CDD to explain review process, considers green‑building certification and code changes

Board members also proposed exploring a voluntary green‑certification option, such as programs by the Florida Green Building Coalition, as a way to offer graded choices and incentives rather than an immediate, prescriptive regulation. The board agreed to invite CDD and to explore potential pilot ideas before drafting code revisions.
