City staff provided multiple departmental updates at the March 2 Tecumseh City Council meeting. Economic development staff reported they are finalizing Downtown Revitalization (DTR) grant paperwork for building improvements and have sold two lots resulting from demolition activity. The same staff member reported ongoing matters related to NioCorp.
On utilities, staff said bids have been received for a generator building at the wells; a meter at the wells failed and will need replacement, and the city needs a new wastewater sampler. These items were presented as routine department reports and did not generate recorded amendments or motions in the minutes.
