The Family Children First Council convened March 9 and approved its meeting minutes and the treasurer's report. The council recorded account balances of FCFC $198,473.43; MSY $34,371.35; FCSS $10,386.80; and Strong Families $27,285.49. The motions to approve the minutes and treasurer report passed unanimously.
Members approved revised bylaws subject to final review by Jess Weade, and the council passed a motion to adopt the Service Coordination Mechanism with amendments, including explicit creation of an executive group to authorize expenditures over $2,500. The Service Coordination Mechanism also establishes a three-tiered response structure (Level 1 Informative-Light, Level 2 Moderate, Level 3 Crisis Intervention) and requires documentation of contact attempts for referrals.
