ODOT outlines 2026 Fulton County construction projects, estimated closures and detours

ODOT District 2 provided a construction schedule for several Fulton County projects and the expected traffic impacts.
Dan (ODOT) listed major 2026 projects: a replacement of the bridge over Bear Creek north of State Route 120 in Royalton Township, with construction beginning April 1, 2026 and a 60-day road closure and detour; slide repair on U.S. Route 20A west of Delt beginning May 4 with a 60-day closure and detour; and a U.S. Route 20 culvert replacement east of State Route 108 beginning July 12 with an estimated 25-day closure and detour. ODOT noted additional miscellaneous work including guardrail and lighting maintenance and raised pavement markers.
Commissioners were provided dates and closure durations for planning and notification to local jurisdictions and residents.
