Danny McFadden told the board he had discussed the entrance with an ODOT representative who indicated a gravel parking area would be acceptable in the configuration shown; the applicants plan to fence to separate a tenant hair salon from the car lot, may add a single light pole, and will obtain required signage permits.
Board members noted the conditions were largely tied to preexisting site conditions and that a stormwater plan should mitigate runoff. The board approved the variances, conditioning approval on Health District site approval, County Engineer‑approved stormwater management, and compliance with all ODOT requirements.
