Commissioners approve August budget report and bills; Schafer abstains on two Schafer Services invoices

The court approved the computer-generated and hand-stamped bills by motion.
Two invoices from Schafer Services — $145 for an antenna for a deputy sheriff and $200 for contract labor at the sheriff's office — were approved on a motion by Commissioner Dawn Webb, seconded by Commissioner Dale Schafer; the motion carried with Commissioner Schafer recorded as abstaining on that approval. An $83.91 invoice from Alexander Grocery and Deli for coffee for the sheriff's office was approved on a motion by Commissioner Nicholas Thomas; Commissioner Dale Schafer seconded. The minutes note Commissioner Tim Alexander had left the meeting before that vote.
