Windsor hires Trevor Lashua as new town manager; contract approved

The Windsor Selectboard on April 15 approved an employment contract hiring Trevor Lashua as the town's new town manager. The board approved the contract by roll-call vote after a motion from M. McNaughton and a second from E. Caffrey; all members voted in favor.
Trevor Lashua addressed the board and said, "I'm happy to be here and excited to work for the Town of Windsor." Lashua told the Selectboard he grew up south of Windsor, still has family in the area and brings roughly two decades of municipal government experience. T. Howard said Lashua is expected to begin on June 15, 2026 and will be in town beforehand to meet department heads, local businesses and Windsor residents.
Board members praised the hire and thanked outgoing manager T. Marsh for his years of service. The board described a planned two-week transition in which T. Marsh and Lashua will work closely together to hand off responsibilities. T. Howard also said the town will issue an official press release on April 16, 2026 announcing the appointment.
