Commissioners approve three appointments to regional councils and zoning boards

The board appointed Marcie Hamilton to the Child Abuse and Child Neglect Regional Prevention Council for a term beginning March 11, 2026, and ending March 10, 2028. Commissioner Fleak moved the appointment and Commissioner Anderson seconded; the motion passed on roll call.
Commissioner Anderson moved and Commissioner Fleak seconded separate motions to appoint Kyle Montgomery of Washington C.H. to the Fayette County Rural Zoning Commission and Ryan Bauman (Concord Township) to the Fayette County Zoning Appeals Board. Both appointments begin June 1, 2025, and run for five years; both motions were approved unanimously.
