Commissioners honor Matt Reedy at final meeting; Andrew Stauffer named replacement

In remarks recorded in the minutes, Reedy said he was proud to be asked to lead prayer in front of the courthouse despite pushback and thanked Liberty Counsel for defending the county on a holiday-display matter. He offered to pray with individuals after the meeting and said, "this county, this country was based on God, and we need to get back to Him." The board recessed and set the next regular meeting for Oct. 7, 2025, at 9 a.m.
