Bevers said the County Council has an active committee working on the fine structure for the ordinance and identified the definition of "vicious dog" and control requirements as areas for revision.<br><br>Commissioner Matt Reedy cited recent incidents and said, "we should not have to live in fear!" He asked for suggestions and input; the board asked staff to draft a new ordinance for review at the next meeting and requested any recommendations be sent to Bevers. Sheriff Rick Meyer was asked for thoughts given recent incidents, and his input was requested as part of the ordinance review process.
