The Allen County Drainage Board on March 5 approved an encroachment petition from John Boling to construct a 30-by-50-foot post/sheet-metal building within the easement of the Frene Drain (Doc #26-033). ACSO recommended approval and the motion to approve was made by Ron Turpin and seconded by Rich Beck; the board recorded the motion as carried.
The petition noted the building would sit about 30 feet from the top of bank on the west and south walls. The board did not record any public opposition during the hearing and approved the encroachment as recommended by staff. The board's action allows the project to proceed subject to any recording or permitting requirements the Surveyor's Office enforces.
