CRA adds $4,657 to Oasis restaurant grant to include landscaping

Xavier Colon presented an amendment to an earlier grant approval for Oasis restaurant to include landscaping along the building frontage on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Colon said the additional landscaping quotes raised the grant request by $4,657.13 to cover revitalization of the property frontage and meet sidewalk/sideyard improvements.
Board members heard that the landscaping will connect to ongoing sidewalk and curb work; the motion to approve the increased not‑to‑exceed grant amount was moved, seconded and adopted by unanimous voice vote of those present.
