T. Howard, chair, told the Selectboard the town had "narrowed the search to 4 finalists" and scheduled interviews for two candidates on March 31 and two more on April 3. The board then voted to enter executive session under 1 V.S.A. § 313(3) to discuss the appointment, evaluation or employment of a public officer or employee.
M. McNaughton moved to enter executive session and J. Johnson seconded; the motion was carried by roll-call vote with all members present voting in favor. The board recessed at 1:30 p.m. on March 31 to resume interviews at 9 a.m. April 3 at the Welcome Center. After completing the closed-session interviews, the board emerged at 2:30 p.m. on April 3 and Chair T. Howard adjourned the meeting.
