County accepts $36,353 PEMA RERF grant to offset planner salary for Crane Clean Energy Center opening

On motion of Commissioner Yoder, seconded by Commissioner Parsons, Lancaster County approved changes to the standard terms in the Radiation Emergency Response Fund grant agreement with the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency. The grant totals $36,353.00 for the period March 25, 2026, through July 30, 2027, and is intended to offset the salary of a planner working directly on the opening of the Crane Clean Energy Center (formerly TMI).
The minutes include a note authorizing Executive Director Brian P. Pasquale to sign the grant agreement on the county’s behalf. The motion passed unanimously with no further conditions recorded in the minutes.
