The Moose Lake School Board unanimously approved a cybersecurity service agreement with Ed Midwest at its July 27 meeting.
During the Superintendent’s report, Superintendent Eric Butche told the board, "The board will see a cybersecurity contract on tonight's agenda. This agreement helps us maintain our cybersecurity insurance requirements, and we anticipate state grant funding will offset much of the associated cost." Julie Peterson moved to approve the Cybersecurity Service Agreement; Paul Olson seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
The board did not disclose contract dollar amounts in the minutes. The item was recorded as an approved action under the meeting’s Action Items list; the board directed that the contract proceed through the standard procurement and contracting process.
